Onora is a design brand founded by María Eladia Hagerman and Maggie Galton in 2013 that collaborates with local and indigenous craftspeople in Mexico to “explore the vast universe of Mexican traditions, techniques, colors, and iconographies to give them new life through contemporary designs.” The brand strikes a balance between tradition and avant-garde, without losing the strong ties with the cultural heritage of Mexico.
